How It Works at Verve Wellness

Simple, straightforward GLP-1 care. No call centers, no confusion, no waiting rooms. Just two nurses that listen.

What We Do

GLP-1 medications like Zepbound (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide) are once weekly injectables that work by quieting food noise, improving fullness, and supporting real, sustained weight loss. Wegovy is also available in oral form for patients who prefer not to inject.

We prescribe both. For most of our patients, we recommend Zepbound for its fewer side effects and stronger appetite control. The right medication depends on your health history, goals, and insurance. We walk you through all of it.

We serve women in New York and Connecticut.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Get Started Pay your first month's fee ($49) to open your chart. If treatment isn't appropriate for you, you get a full refund. No risk.

  • Step 2: Complete Your Intake You'll receive a link to your patient portal through Charm, our secure EHR. Fill out your health history, consent forms, and enrollment. It takes about 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: We Review Your Chart We’ll reach out directly with your personalized treatment plan and prescription.

  • Step 4: Get Your Medication Self-pay patients order through manufacturer savings programs. Zepbound starts around $299/month, injectable Wegovy around $199/month, and oral Wegovy around $149/month, depending on dose. Insurance patients have their prescription sent to their pharmacy. We handle prior authorizations when needed.

  • Step 5: Start Your First Dose We recommend your first injection on a Friday so you have the weekend to rest if needed. Most patients feel fine. We check in with you one week later to make sure everything is going smoothly.

  • Step 6: Ongoing Support You have 24/7 access to us through secure messaging in Charm. We check in regularly for refills and dose adjustments. Ongoing care is billed at $105/month.

We help you figure out the most affordable option before you commit.

  • We don't bill insurance for our clinical fee. For medication, yes — we run insurance and handle prior authorizations when applicable. We also accept FSA and HSA funds for our fee upon request.

  • GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, PCOS, or prediabetes. We also work with women who fall outside those parameters depending on health history and goals. Not sure if you qualify? Start your intake and we'll tell you exactly where you stand.

  • The most common are nausea, fatigue, and mild GI discomfort, especially in the first few weeks. Most patients find they improve as their body adjusts. If side effects are bothering you, we slow things down.
