Getting Started

Your journey with Verve Wellness begins with a simple first step: booking your initial virtual consultation. You can either fill out our quick interest form or contact us here.

During this first appointment, you’ll meet with one of our licensed nurse practitioners to discuss your health history, lifestyle, and goals.

We’ll help determine whether a GLP-1 medication like semaglutide or tirzepatide is a safe, appropriate fit for you and talk you through your treatment options.

    • Living with a BMI ≥ 30 (or ≥ 27 with certain conditions like PCOS, prediabetes, or hypertension)

    • Struggling with appetite regulation, cravings, or weight loss resistance

    • Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Not using other weight loss medications

    • Comfortable with once-weekly self-injection (we’ll show you how!)

Starting Your Medication

Once you’re approved for treatment, we’ll get your prescription processed and shipped directly to your door or sent to your chosen pharmacy. You’ll receive guidance on your medication schedule, storage instructions, and everything you need to get started safely.

Before your first dose, we’ll walk you through exactly how to administer your injection — it’s a quick, once-weekly shot with a small needle that most clients find surprisingly simple.

You’ll also get support on:

    The cost of medication is separate and depends on the type prescribed (compounded or brand-name like Ozempic or Wegovy). We’ll go over all pricing details during your consultation so you can make an informed choice — no hidden fees or surprise charges.

  • We do not accept insurance for our $105/month service fee. However, we do work diligently with insurance companies to help you get coverage for brand-name GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy, when possible.

    If your plan requires prior authorization, we’ll handle that process on your behalf. Many clients also use HSA or FSA funds to help cover costs.

  • You may be eligible if your BMI is ≥ 30, or ≥ 27 with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, PCOS, or prediabetes. We’ll review your health history during your consultation to determine if a GLP-1 medication is a safe and appropriate option for you.

  • The most common side effects are mild nausea, fatigue, constipation, and decreased appetite — especially in the first few weeks. Most are manageable and improve over time. We’ll support you with strategies to minimize discomfort and monitor your response closely.
